I got this note from Peter Koval.  Many of you have seen his work on Tribeca Citizen.  Above is another example.   The note describes how to get in touch with him for his next round of painting in Tribeca.

Hi there,

I wanted to thank everyone for their great ideas and support during my last sketching visit back to my old neighborhoods.   As many of you know, I’m currently on the west coast taking care of my elderly father in last stages of Alzheimer’s.  I’ve been subletting my place in NYC while away taking care of the family business.  It’s such a treat for me to get a week to visit home and paint.  Every time I come back I feel like I’m rediscovering the neighborhoods for the first time.  There are so many wonderful qualities that NYC provides, that we can overlook on a daily basis.  Thanks to everyone who’s ideas on locations, inspired me to visit their sites and paint their locations, and thanks to those who out of their generosity and appreciation or my artwork, have contributed to purchasing prints and originals.  Many humble thanks.

I’m trying to make another trip back home in March, when I will once again take some time out to paint.  If you have any locations in mind that you think I should consider, please email me.  You can even send me pics of the location, so I can appreciate what you’re seeing further.

I’ll email you once again when I’m closer to knowing the confirmed dates in the case you’d like me to paint a commission of a site.

Please feel free to forward this on to anyone you think might want to have an original watercolor and ink painting of a location in TriBeCa.  The neighborhood is changing quickly and that’s even since I moved there not to long ago in ’97.  Many things are vanishing which I considered emblematic to the neighborhood.

Thanks once again, and I look forward to hearing back from all of you.

Best

Peter
